whatever you do, don't spam 100 posts in a day. i did that in one hour and got warned by a mod. threatened to bring my post count down back to 0....*shudder*

this is true. But i do have a question. As of late a poster has overtaken the posting lead from me. I dont mind that at all, thats fine, but its the way it happened. Yesterday he was over a 100 post behind me then all of a sudden he was 60 post in front of me. That is spamming hands down. Sure it wasnt in the OT section but come on, 200 post in a day? Thats spamming. Well this person is not banned for spamming, instead he is made a site contributor for posting in the PC section. Come on! Mods warn us to watch our posting yet since it was in a different section they let them run free? Please someone justify why this is so?

i'm not a mod, but i can try to answer your question

it's because he's a Price Check Guru that he's overtaken you, you've acknowledged that. he's providing a service that's helpful to others and Guru itself, while a normal spammer who gets 100+ posts off of 1-liners in the OT forum is providing Guru a disservice by taking up bandwidth.

that's my guess.

been banned 3 times already

1. 2week ban spamming
2. 2week ban multiple rule breaking
3. 3day ban non-bid
4. perma banned for "mocking" the PC guru's (was withdrawn after i PM'd inde)

i would have been a guru except my record speaks for its self lol
